ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡುವಾಗ ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎನ್ನಿ; ಮೈಮುರಿದು ಏಳುವಾಗ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಏಳಿ; ಮಾತು ವಿಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎಂದು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿ ಬಿಡಿ; ಏನಾದರೂ ಭಾರ ಹೊರುವಾಗ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಸುಲಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ದುಃಖವಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ, ತಮಾಷೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗಲೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ನಾಮ ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಆಗಲೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆ ನಮಗೆ ಶಮನ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮುದ್ದಾಡುವಾಗಲೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆಯಾಗಲಿ; ಮೆತ್ತನೆಯ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತು ವಿರಮಿಸುವಾಗಲೂ ದೇವನ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವನೂ, ನಿವಾರಿಸುವವನೂ ದೇವರೇ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವರ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಆ ಗರುಡವಾಹನನಾದ ಪುರಂದರ ವಿಠಲನೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣನೇ ಎಂದು ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಂಪಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರೆ, ಹಾಡಲಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೇಳಿಯಾದರೂ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಲ್ಲವೇ? ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದೇ ಈ ದೇವರ ನಾಮದ ಉದ್ದೇಶ.

ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ವೀರಯೋಧರಿಗೆ ನಮಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಈ ಒಂದು ಕವನ ರಚನೆ - ಜಗದೀಶ ಚಂದ್ರ,         "ಅಯ್ ಮೇರೇ ವತನ್ ಕೆ" ಎಂಬ ಹಾಡಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತ 

ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಜನ ಬಲಿದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ವೀರಯೋಧರು,  ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಪಡಬಾರದ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಇಂದು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ.  

ವೀರಯೋಧರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿ

ಓ ಭಾರತ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೇ ಮನಮಿಡಿಯುವ ಈ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ ಮಡಿದ ವೀರ ಯೋಧರ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ

ಓ ಭಾರತ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೇ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಡಿದು ವೀರ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೋಧರ ಶೌರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡೋಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಎರಡು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆ ದೇಶಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಗಡಿಗಳ ತಂಟೆಗೆ ಬಂದವು. ಆಗ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಾಯಲು ಉಸಿರಿರುವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೋಧರು ಹೋರಾಡಿದರು. ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕೆಲವರು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ತೆತ್ತರು. ಮಾತೃ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಋಣ ತೀರಿಸಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ, ತಾಯಿನಾಡಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯಾದವರ ಈ ವೀರಯೋಧರ ವೀರಗಾಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದೆ ಕೇಳಿ. ಓ ಭಾರತ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೇ, ಬಂಧು ಬಳಗ ಮಿತ್ರರು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತೊರೆದು ತಾಯ್ನಾಡಿಗೆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ತೆತ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ವೀರ ಯೋಧರ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದೆ ಕೇಳಿ. 

ಜಯಹಿಂದ್ ಜಯಹಿಂದ್ ಜೈ ಭಾರತ್ ಜೈ ಭಾರತ್ 

ಕುಲ. ಜಾತಿ. ಮತ ಭಾಷೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಬೇಧವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಒಂದಾದರು . ಘೋರ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಮಡಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಯೋಧರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸೋಣ. ಆ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಮೈಯೆಲ್ಲವೂ ರಕ್ತ ಸಿಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೂ ಛಲ ಬಿಡದೇ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸವಳಿದು ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೊನೆಯ ಉಸಿರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು "ಸುಖವಾಗಿರಿ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೇ" ಎಂದು ಜನಹಿತವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತ ದೇಹಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

For the country, so many people have made sacrifices. We are grateful to be enjoying today the rewards of our heroes' and freedom fighters' unspeakable suffering.

Our enemies were nearing the brink of our boundaries.  Our troops fought to keep the nation safe.  The violence claimed the lives of some. Remember to hear the inspiring tale of these courageous warriors who gave their life to settle Mother Earth's debt.

They prayed for the welfare of their country's citizens even amid such dire circumstances and until the day they died.
